  1. Today in physics we reviewed how to calcute speed. You take your distance and divide it by your time.

-We are figuring out the speed for 2.5/1.3 and the answer was 19.2yds per sec.

-We had to figure out the speed for 5.2sec. It was 14.4 yds/s

    -the speed for 10.4 was 9.6 yd/s

Then we got back int our lab groups and finished the homework from friday. We had to figure out our speed for the times we got.

    Desired Results

    Trial 1:

Time vs Distance: Graph should have a curved line going up.
Velosity vs Time: Graph should have a diagonal line going down to the right.

    Trial 2:

Time vs Distance: Graph should have a diagonal line going up to the right.
Valosity vs Time: Graph should have flat horizontal line.

    Trial 3:

Time vs Distance: Graph should have a curved line going up a little with a slight decrease.
Velosity vs Time: Graph should have a diagonal line going up to the right.

The groups had to come up with reasons why their graphs came out the way they did. They had to compare and contrast each graph. (why and in what ways they are different or alike)

Someone from the group has to post a blog with those reasons.
POST TO THE MONDAY DAILY BLOG
    which is this one. :)

BLOGS MUST BE POSTED BY TOMORROW.!!!

  2. The first two trials matched up, but the 3rd trial did not, because the time was not accurate.

  3. the first two trials did not match up. the first trial becuase the speed didnt change much.trial 2 because maybe the time was incorrect and trail 3 matched up.
